I resently received a call from this company on a claim 2 years old from hollywood video. They said i had 4 days to pay a ludacris 140 dollar late fee at hollywood video which went out of business 2 years ago. I can say with all honesty i did not owe them 1 penny. I stopped by the only store i ever rented from 5 days prior to closing and paid my remaining late fee which was just over 3 dollars. I paid 75 to settle my account but i called 5 times for details and never once cursed or raised my voice and the operators were incredibly rude and told me they had to terminate the call ever time i asked how i could dispute the chargers with hollywood video. Obviously my problem stems from them but you have to question a company that goes into business with another when a simple google search will yield scam notices from all over the country and i am not speaking on just yahoo reviews. In oklahoma city a scam alert was released in the news after thousands of issues with another collection agency. i have not been late on a payment of any kind since i was 19. I have been active duty military for the past 7 years and currently own 2 homes in southern ca and boost a 749 credit score. Responsibility falls on this company as well they can not be trusted.
