I used ASI's services to send a 40' container to Japan from California. The container showed up on time, they left it for the weekend and I had three days to load it (a good call, it's a big project). When it was loaded, I called and within an hour, the truck came and hauled it to the port. The container arrived in Yokohama with my lock still on it. No problems, nothing broke, nothing strange. The fee was same as estimated ($3K) and they were able to answer all of my questions quickly and enthusiastically. If I were to do this again (but I probably won't) I would call them. It's kind of weird when everything works like it's supposed to. Don't ask me about my GE dryer (brand new and DOA and GE service is a nightmare).
