Consumer Complaint Division 585 N. Mountain Avenue Suite A Upland, CA 91786..... Dear Dr. Marcus G. Connelly, MD: Re: (8:30a.m Appointment 9/4/07) On September 4, 2007 I had an important follow up appointment with Dr. Connelly! I arrived at 8:35 a.m according to my cell phone with no Receptionist at the front desk. 5 minutes later I was called in by the nurse to go in. I was happy that it was so rapid to be called in to see the Dr. about my skin condition. Only to find out that the Nurse rudely told me “YOU WERE LATE" We'll have to reschedule you're appointment! I was SHOCKED! I told her how late can you be? She said 10 minutes. I said your wall clock says 8:45a.m but my cell phone says 8:40a.m, I think it a little ahead! She then asked the receptionist how long ago I checked in and said a few minutes! Then that will be 13 minutes! 13 minutes late and I'm CANCELLED OUT WOW! I walked out in horror with sadness and my itchy itchy scalp because Dr. Connelly’s 1st trial of medications for my Sebborheic Dermatitis didn't work! Besides there was another patient there that was a NEW Patient that also had an 8:30a.m appointment and he was suppose to get there very early because he was still filling out paper-work. I could have been seen by the time he finished his paperwork because when I walked out from the Rude Nurse trying to reschedule me He was still filling out paperwork! I have never been turned down for an appointment for 10 minutes that was so RUDE and UN-PROFESSIONAL!!! Do they know the rough morning I had trying to get my son to school the first day back from summer vacation? Do they know I took the morning off and MISSED $140.00 Pay to be there!!! I don't think so. Do they know I was referred to him by Pomona Valley Medical Group in Chino Hills where I live and it's not a close drive! (NEAR CORONA) My primary Dr. is Michael Deanda at Pomona Valley Medical Center and I could SWITCH to any provider I want, but I m happy with PVMC. I just can’t believe they contract with such an unprofessional staff like Chaparral medical group. Why am Ii forced to see a Dermatologist far from me in Upland that has an unprofessional staff! To resolve the problem, I would appreciate your staff contracting Dermatologist closer to Chino Hills and refund my money from work!
