Bought a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan yesterday and fell for their pitch that all vehicles must pass an extensive "48 point inspection" before they are listed for sale. Said to call them and they would handle any problems.
Driving home noticed severe shaking at 60+mph. Had car checked out by my mechanic and advised that the car was unsafe to drive due to damaged and cracked rocker arms and bushings. Further, he noted the front and rear brake pads were cracked and worn and rotors would be damaged if not replaced.
Total repairs for a vehicle that passed the "48 point inspection"....$1300.00.
Called the sales manager(Manny) to see if he could help. He was worthless and argued that there was no way the brakes were bad because that was a "federal thing". He also suggested that my mechanic was just truing to sell me unnecessary repairs. DONT BUY OR TRUST THESE PEOPLE!
