Dear Alan,
We want to thank you and your mechanics for all the work you did on our trailer. We purchased it from Family RV in April, 2006. We have used our trailer many, many times with much enjoyment. We have brought it in for regular maintenance & service. But we learned the hard way that each unit, new or used MUST be checked every time you take it out. This means all the lights, interior and exterior, all seals, wheels and tires; with special care to the axle bearings they do need professional inspection and service annually. This also means all the caulking around the windows, A/C unit, storage doors, entry door(s), vents, any where moisture can come in. (No! Family RV isn’t just after your money! It is to prevent a major repair like the one we had!) We brought our unit in for its regular wheel bearing inspection and asked for it to be inspected. Our unit had developed a MAJOR leak. It totally destroyed our floor in the bedroom area and storage areas. Removing the bed, storage, flooring, installing new supports, new flooring & reinstalling the bed. After much work by the Family RV mechanics, we got our trailer back. It is in nearly new condition. Our floors are solid and will last for many years to come. I can not say enough thank your for the work that was done.
We appreciate all the time and even extra time that Alan and his staff put into the repairs on our trailer. With special thanks to Ron and Bud who ensured all of Alan’s directions were tended to. Alan backed his words with actions that were above and beyond our expectations. When the time comes to purchase another RV it will be from Family RV, as I don’t feel any other dealer would be as customer oriented as Alan and Family RV.
In closing, we attended the RV show in Pleasanton this past January, 2008. I did not find a dealer’s representative who was as informed as Alan thus adding to our confidence in Family RV and the staff there.
