5 Days to Deliver an "Expedited Guaranteed Overnight Before Noon" (For An Extra Charge) Delivery

A fruit gift basket was ordered on Monday for delivery before noon on Tuesday - with an additional charge for the guaranteed delivery before noon. The total amount for the basket, delivery, and guaranteed delivery was instantly deducted from my bank account. It was not delivered the next day, the next day, or even the next day. It was not delivered until late afternoon on Friday. Contact with the company on Wednesday to notify them that the basket was never delivered resulted in an immediate refund of the expedited guaranteed delivery charge. The basket was to be delivered the next day. It wasn't. Another email to the company resulted in the delivery at last - late Friday afternoon.
This was especially nerve wracking because the recipient was an 82-year-old man about to undergo a multiple coronary artery bypass graft who was in critical condition. We honestly did not know if he would survive after being hospitalized in critical condition on Monday. Despite informing From You Flowers of the seriousness of this order, it still took 2 MORE days and another email to get it delivered. Not once did this company ever contact me on their own initiative to see if the order was delivered - even after having been informed of the failure to deliver TWICE. But they took their money out of my bank account in the blink of an eye. BUYER BEWARE: if I hadn't asked the family if they liked the fruit basket - I would never have known it had not been delivered. ZERO Stars
