Review 12/6/2007

I had ordered a parts from Gravana for my 2006 Chevy Colorado (Order #7508) and a few weeks went by and I had not received anything. I emailed and emailed and kept getting a "Order Pending" response. I saw that there was already a complaint with the BBB, and I became nervous. The day before I was going file a complaint with the BBB and State Attorney, I received a call from from Gravana stating that one of the items I had ordered were now ready to ship. I complained to the owner that this was ridiculous and I asked him why. He explained that the lead time was clearly listed in the description. Apparently, I didn't read the notes when I ordered - LOL! I mentioned to him that the BBB has a unfavorable listing for Gravana with no positive reviews and only negative complaints. He stated that he didn't even know there wwere complaints. Well, I finally received my package and he had included a free seatbelt holder and some stickers at no addiitonal cost. There was also a Thank You/Apology note in the box that was hand written by the owner. This promted me to write this letter. 95% of the problem was me not reading the description, but the other 5% was that all I could get from the automated updates was "Order Pending". They need to change their system to incude details like "In Production" or "Will Ship In 4 Days" and they need a better phone system. So I am going to give Gravana 4 stars to see if I can help them get their BBB rating up. They handled it all very well and they deserve some praise. I plan to order brake rotors from Gravana as soon as my pads wear down.
