Based on Two purchasing experiences at the store.
1. Purchased a Whirlpool washer. Salesperson misrepresented that the washer was low energy compliant. Got no rebate from the State. Lost $100
2. Purchased a GE dryer. Had a terrible delivery experience: wrong day, wrong time, repeated unkept promises from various employees.
In the process of installation, Howards' delivery person disconnected the water heater without letting me know. Result-- a weekend without hot water!
Just atrocious service.
I generally support smaller businesses. But in case of Howard's, my two purchase experiences were so negative that I would urge other buyers to stay away from this dysfunctional store.
