Nicole W: Paradise Swimming Pools & Spas, Inc. would like to respond about your issues. First, as far as your landscaping you were told that hopefully it would not get damaged and you were told to remove your landscape lighting due to the possibility of it getting damaged along with the landscaping. Unfortunately while excavating your swimming pool the sugar sand started to cave in under the machine. The machine had to back out of the area where he was sitting otherwise the machine could have fallen in the hole. Once he was on stable ground he had no other place to put the dirt. As far as your cable line goes, we call Sunshine State One Call to locate all underground utilites. The report came back as clear/no conflict. We went above and beyond after your cable line was broken to contact the appropriate utilities. If you read in your contract we are not responsilbe for underground obstacles, but we spent many hours on the telephone trying to get this fixed for you. Lastly, your pool was excavated on a Wednesday, steeled on Thursday, inspected on Friday, shot with gunite Friday and backfilled on Monday, at which time we cleaned up your driveway. Most homeowners would be very pleased with how fast their project has progressed in 4 days. With all this being said, remember we are building a swimming pool with VERY, VERY tight quarters and this is a part of construction.
