This is the first step in trying to settle a debt from a previous employee which i didn't know existed until it turned up on my credit report having co-signed for her cell phone.
Cingular Wireless, the phone company service provider, is now non-existent and every time I phone the company who absorbed them, AT&T, I cannot settle this account for which I have never seen a bill.
This collection agency, PCC, refuses to send any kind of detailed invoice, does not have legitimate stationary (nor provides a return envelope for the amount to be paid) but instead, sends a computer printout with no supporting materials whatsoever. This company seems completely illegit though we'd like to get this collection settled.
