This company does not follow FTC regulations for a collection agency. There are numerous negative reports on the Internet about their deceptive and unscrupulous practices. In trying to settle an amount which a doctor's office said my wife and I owed, I contacted the doctor's billing office. They said they would call Tec-co and tell them to reduce the amount owed so it could be resolved. When I called Tec-co they lied and said the doctor's office told them not to reduce the amount. So I called the doctor's office back to verify they had spoken to Tec-co and the person they had spoken to. Then I called Tec-co back and this same lady lied again about what the doctor's office had said. So I offered to get the doctor's office on a three-way call. The lady at Tec-co refused to do this, became angry at me and abruptly ended the call. FTC regulations say that a collection agency should honestly represent their clients and work fairly with the ones from whom they are attempting to collect a debt. BBB has given Tec-co Systems a rating of C- but it should be adjusted downward to F
