They try to get you to give your animal more shots then needed, even if you show them documentation of the shots that were given to your animal. My dog had a Rabies vaccine given 3 months prior to our visit and I should the vet proof of this shot, but she told me that she doesn't even know what Rabesin is, it might not be a Rabies vaccine (bogus). And then they came up with a list of things that I needed to give my dog that weren't needed. I declined them and then the same day went to another Vet and this honest vet told me I don't know why she would have said that, that shot is common knowledge.
I originally went through Valley Veterinary Clinic to Spay both my cat and dog. I went through a Charitable Non-profit corporation and as a result at Valley Veterinary Clinic they treated me like a second class citizen. They didn't really talk to me, they took my animals and didn't say anything to me (only when I could pick them up) and then when I picked them up, I was handed them and then expected to leave without talking to someone. I had a few questions so I went up to the office window and told them that I had a few questions and the woman said "oh, your with the non-profit organization right? your going to have to wait and I don't think that I can really do anything for you." She walked away from the window and about 30 min later she came back to answer some questions that I had and had I not stayed and asked anything I wouldn't have gotten a sheet of after surgery instructions that they were supposed to give me, but didn't because I was with the non-profit organization.
