Ebay has a TRS policy which is used to punish sellers their search listing status, discount on fees, paypal status are all tied to this system. This system is completely unchecked by ebay and is relying on a buyer to be honest. If a seller gets 3 buyers out of 100 who think the shipping was too slow and leave a seller a low star rating the seller is punished. Ebay is punishing its customers we are customers of ebay, we are not buyers and we are not employees. Large retailers are clearly not being subjucted to this lopsided unfair system because it is setup to mask their bad service, because of percentages. Ebay is a venue selling ads to sellers, sellers are not ebay employees. Ebay is also not registering buyers properly, nor policing buyers who are dishonest, ebay has has terrible customer service and is constantly changing policy on the use of their site. Sellers are being treated like we our all dishonest, instead of removing the dishonest all are being punished. The site is not flexible as not all sellers are able to stuff the item in a box and ship the same day, some sellers sell customized, personalized items made after the sale which are labor intensive, some sellers are part time and only ship a few days per week the site is being geared to large retailers with hundreds of employees, small business is being clubbed to death by ebay. Ebay takes our money but then sets policies which do not work for everyone. Many have asked ebay to fix their system to be flexible for the different types of businesses on ebay and we have been told told to change our business model, we cannot do that and we should not have to as long we are running a honest business. We should not be subjected to a unfair system, it is ebay who should change, they are taking our money, they have a category for all types of business. Sellers are being forced to work long hours and seven days per week because of a policy which is completely deceptive and out of line.
